There are two ways of viewing the software news I publish on FindMySoft. The first one is to visit FindMySoft.com or FindMySoft.com/news and read up on the latest news. The second one is to subscribe to the FindMySoft news feed and access the latest news via your feed reader.
There are, as you can imagine, many feed readers out there. Out of all of them, I would like to put the spotlight on the regally-named Royal RSS Reader. By using it you can monitor FindMySoft’s news feed, see what articles were recently published, and open articles in your default web browser.
To get most applications up and running on a Windows PC you must install them. Not Royal RSS Reader. To get Royal RSS Reader up and running on a Windows PC, you must not go through an installation process. All you have to do is run an executable.
Royal RSS Reader’s interface is divided into two panels. The one on the left displays all the RSS feeds you added, features a search box, presents a list of options, and so on. Select a feed and its articles will be displayed on the panel to the right. Overall, it is a simple enough layout that you will quickly get accustomed to.
Royal RSS Reader has the following features to offer: add RSS feeds; expanded and collapsed view mode for viewing posts; show only new posts; mark all posts as read; save, delete feed; use color coding to manage feeds; search in feeds; check for new posts every X minutes, every X days; change the interface language; export feed list.
